Nore Public Alpha safety
Safety Center
Where Alpha users can find safety controls, child-safety commitments, reporting paths, and account lifecycle information.
This text is an implementation draft and requires human and legal review before public launch.
Policy details
Effective date: 2026-07-27. Policy version: alpha-public-v1. English (United States) controls.
Core controls
- Use reports for abusive, illegal, exploitative, infringing, or unsafe content.
- Use block to prevent new interactions from another user.
- Use mute to hide a user from your own feeds and notifications without notifying them.
- Nudity and sexual content are prohibited; sensitive labels are reserved for non-sexual categories.
Teen safety
Accounts for people aged 13 to 17 start private and include reporting, blocking, muting, and follow-request controls. A private profile limits the full profile to approved followers.
A teen may change their profile to public and uses the general direct-message, group, chat, and Live rules. DM requests require acceptance; groups require an accepted conversation or mutual follow, and Live requires access to its chat.
This model retains residual contact and discovery risk. It requires explicit product and safety acceptance plus qualified legal review before G1; this draft does not claim that risk has been approved.
Urgent safety issues
Sexualized minors, exploitation, credible threats, doxxing, and non-consensual sexual content should be escalated immediately through the beta support channel described on Support.
Child safety and CSAE
Nore prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, trafficking, and attempts to request, trade, create, or distribute exploitative material. Suspected material remains unavailable while restricted human review and escalation occur.
